J & T Carraher 7.20.13

This post is a little past due, but I've been waiting to share this with everyone! On July 20, 2013 I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of a friend I've had since I was 16 years old on his wedding day. Joining me  in capturing the events of the day was a lovely photog friend of mine, Merrisa! Like I said I've known Joe for quite some time now, and I remember countless trips to Dunkin Donuts with him reassuring him that somewhere out there was the girl of his dreams and that he would just have to be patient, deal with a few heartbreaks, stop running away to Vermont and one day he would find her in Massachusetts. I hate to say I told you so, but as soon as Joe told me about Theresa I did indeed have to tell Joe that I knew she was the one for him, and of course that 16 year old Casey was very much right. Of course I do have to give Joe's cousin Heidi all the credit here though, when I asked how J & T met they told me that it was through the "magical" working of Heidi, but then again maybe it was their memorable first date to dinner at Pizza Hut when Joe realized that she was a keeper. J & T's love goes beyond just the two of them, it can be seen throughout both of their families who definitely became one family that day.

We started the day out with the girls who were doing their makeup and getting their hair done by Heidi Perry {of Xtreme Styles.}
Gorgeous girls!
Something Blue, Something New.

I then left Merrisa with the girls while I ventured off to see what the guys were up to. Thank goodness Joe's Mom came with me because these guys would of been lost without her help!

Yes that is  backwards suspenders & stapling of a vest!
Both equally as nervous and excited!

Joe's Reaction to seeing Theresa, love it!
Vows were not only shared between J & T, but Joe continued his vows to Theresa's kids, Logan & Hannah, promising to love them and take care of them as if they were his own!
Such a nice idea, I admit made my eyes water!
And afterwards, off we went to {The Clinton Dam} for some bridal party fun!

Once again, CONGRATS MR. & MRS. CARRAHER! Merrisa and I had a blast spending your wedding day with you and your family.

xo,
Casey Elizabeth
