PH211 Final Edit

Here are my strongest images from my projects throughout the semester for this course. This sequence will be dorm life and some of the many aspects of living in a dorm, which include late nights, study sessions, and of course relaxing and having a little bit of fun with friends.

Silhouette Fun

For a project I am working on doing a silhouette series, here are a couple of images of just playing around with the idea of silhouettes. I enjoy silhouettes because they let the viewer engage with the photo in a whole different way, they make the viewer provide the details of what the shadowed person or object looks like. Here are some of my silhouettes.

Fun with 35mm

The family I babysit for very generously gave me a 35mm camera that had been passed down from a photographer who had been in their family. Graciously I accepted and was extremely excited to try shooting film instead of digital. I have a feeling this camera will be fun to play with! Here are some images from my first time shooting 35mm.

All Nighter Fun

College is filled with wonderful experiences. Experiences like learning lots of useful information, meeting new people, hanging out, having fun, and of course pulling all nighters with your roommates.

Maternity Shoot

On June 13th, 2010 I shot maternity photographs for my cousin, they will be my present to her for her baby shower! (she won't seem them until then) Here is a sneak peak of a couple of images from the shoot.
